Last season was one of the biggest in Deep Space Robotics history: alongside competing with our 2025 robot, Neptune, in the REEFSCAPE game, we helped host the very first Pinnacles Regional — right here in Hollister.
Bringing a full FIRST Robotics Competition regional event to our own community was years in the making, and it meant local students, families, and sponsors got to see an FRC event without having to travel outside the county.
Beyond competition, the team stayed busy giving back throughout the year:
- FIRST Fun Day at John Deere — showcasing robotics to the broader community
- STEAM Expo — sharing hands-on STEAM activities with local students
- Community Day — an open, team-hosted event for Hollister to see what we build
- Community Cleanups — volunteering time to give back locally
We’re looking forward to building on all of it this season.
